I don’t consider writing blog posts hard write. I like writing, but much like anyone else with a blog - I find doing it consistently to be difficult.
I’m trying to be better, and while pondering on the topic, I remember what I like about my Tumblr blog - It’s fun to post random stuff I make. This is stuff that doesn’t make it into my portfolio; or anywhere really. It’s just random GIFs I like to make.

The Eternal Strain of Personal Branding
So recently I’ve been trying to ramp up my personal brand. It’s an often neglected part of my career as a designer (hell just look at my website), but a completely necessary one. Everyone has a personal brand. I don’t care if you work nights at the local landfill. How you walk, talk and present yourself. The cloths you choose to wear, your demeanor, how much you care about something or not at all.

Be a Trello Master
If you’ve never used Trello before, you’re missing out. I’ve been using it to organize not only my work, but my life in general. Today, I convinced my boss to switch the entire team from Basecamp to Trello - Not only to save our company $3,000 a year but also to make us a more efficient, happier team.

Using Jekyll for my new website
I abandoned my website after only a brief time online. This was primarily due to the fact that my hosting provider was doubling the annual price of my VPS, and that the site itself didn’t really suit my needs.
